What am I talking about? Well obviously the much talked about announcement sometime today (5pm on the west coast of the USA?) of the eagerly awaited Apple tablet computer of course…what else? I’m not really interested^* in the tablet…only in whether the announcement itself will bring down Twitter as a Steve Jobs keynote speech at MacWorld apparently did two years ago.

Let’s see.

For anyone wishing to “watch” the event folks at the Guardian are live blogging with minute by minute updates. You may want to avoid Twitter for obvious reasons!
