Subscribe
Subscribing is an easy way to receive updates when a new article is posted to the site. It saves you having to check here to see if there’s anything new, and with RSS, you can collate the updates for all websites or blogs you’re interested in, in the same place.
You can subscribe to this site so you can autotmatically receive notification when there is new content. You need to subscribe using an RSS Reader. This is a piece of software or a webpage that will collect new articles as they are posted, from all sites you subscribe to.
To find out more about RSS and a list of RSS Readers, please see the post What is RSS?.
How to Subscribe
There are two steps to subscribing…
First, get the address for the RSS feed. The feed for all the articles on this site is http://www.learninginstitute.qmul.ac.uk/elearning/feed/.
Second, add the feed to your reader: if you click the link above, your browser may help you do this automatically, or you will have to do this manually by adding the feed to your reader.
RSS Readers
One excellent RSS reader is that offered by Google. You can add feeds to your iGoogle homepage, or to Google Reader, if you have them set up. To do this for all articles posted on this site, click the button below:

You can also add the feed manually to the RSS reader of your choice, by copying and pasting the feed address into the reader software. There are many readers out there, besides Google; for example, you can use Mac Mail, Newsrack for iPhone or iPad, or Feedreader for Windows or Mac.
