These are postings providing important information about the running of the central College virtual learning environment (VLE) at Queen Mary, University of London. This includes information about any current system problems and scheduled downtimes.

| September 23, 2011 | Online helpdesk currently unavailable Due to technical difficulties our online helpdesk on http://helpdesk.its.qmul.ac.uk/ is currently unavailable. We hope to have it back online as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing. |
| August 26, 2011 | Rollover staff update Rollover is finished. The E-Learning Support Team has processed your requests and you can now access your 2011-12 course area. Unless otherwise requested, content has been copied across from 2010-11 into the 2011-12 course AND all student data and activity has been removed. Read this post to find out what you need to do next. |
| July 26, 2011 | End of Year Course Rollover 2011 As we are now approaching the end of the academic year, we will soon be getting Blackboard ready for the start of the new year, we call this process “rollover”. This process will involve Blackboard being offline for a period of time so please read through this article as it explains what we’re going to do, when we’re going to to it and how this will affect you as a user of the virtual learning environment. |

| July 12, 2011 | Blackboard and Q-Review offline on the morning of 25/7/11 Dear Users, As a part of planned maintenance of the services hosted by IT Services Platform Services ITS will need to bring College services offline for a planned period of time on the morning of Monday 25/7/11. Turnitin are working to correct the problem but have advised that the service may be at risk for the rest of the day today.
